THE OFF-LEASH ROADMAP
The exact 8-week path I use to take a dog — reactive, fearful, or just plain stubborn — from puppyhood to true, tested off-leash freedom
Why Most Dogs Never Get Real Freedom
If you're like most of the owners I work with, you've probably tried the treat pouch, maybe a flexi leash, maybe a few YouTube tutorials — and your dog still won't come back the second something interesting shows up.
That's not because your dog is stubborn. It's because nobody ever built the actual system underneath "off- leash." A lot of owners treat it like a single trick — unclip the leash, cross your fingers, hope for the best. That's not training, that's gambling with your dog's safety.
Off-leash freedom isn't one skill. It's the last stage of a system — and if any piece of that system is missing, it falls apart the moment a squirrel runs by, another dog shows up, or you're standing in an open field with no fence in sight.
